MAINTENANCE WITH  OXYSEPT ONE-STEP : KEEP REFRIGERATED   !!!! 

 
EQUIPMENT 

-          Optifree daily cleaner
-          Oxysept-one-step (with tablets!!):disinfection of the lenses with oxygen-water, this may never get into your eyes, unless after the neutralization. The pink dyestuff of the pil shows you that you added the tablet. Always use your special case, because other cases can explode because of the release of oxygen. Gebruik steeds het speciale etui, omdat andere etuis kunnen ontploffen door de vrijzetting van zuurstof. Packages of 3 and 6-months are always cheaper! !
-          Viapack (1 liter NaCL 0.9%) as rinseliquid. It's better you work with a small bottle and keep the big bottle in the refrigerator. You can also use Lensplus.
-          Ultrazym tabletten: weekly cleaning with enzymes.  

 
 DIRECTIONS

-          Wash hands and then remove the lens. Never squeeze the lens hard between the fingers. Before you put the lenses in always apply a moisturize drop (such as physiologic serum or others), these allow to remove the lens easier, without damaging the lenses. Always start with the right eye. So you can't exchange the lenses.
-         Cleaning of the lenses with Optifree daily cleaner or Ultraclean plus once a week: use 2 drops, rub the lens on your finger and rub the edges good during 10 seconds, afterwards turn over the lens and rub it the same way. Make sure your nails are short otherwise you'll damage the lens. Always manipulate the lens moist with help from Viapack-spoelmiddel, this will belet prevent you ripping the lens.   Mostly cleaning isn't nessecary with monthly lenses.
-          Carefully put the lenses in the case. 
-          Fill the case with Oxysept-fluid to the streak. ALWAYS add a oxysept tablet. The fist 20 minutes the disinfection and the cleaning of the lens happens. After 20 minutes the tablet will fizzle harder: in this phase the neutralization of the oxygenwater and the sourlevel happens. Because of the sparkling the dirt of your lens will be gone.
-          In the morning you can put the lenses back in (after min 2 hours of neutralization). Wash down the lens with Viapack. Throw away the liquid and keep the case dry. Take your dry case with you when you go out.

 
 
 PROCEDURE FOR THE WEEKLY CLEANING WITH  ENZYMES

 With Ultrazym: throw weekly a Ultrazym-tablet in the liquid (also a pink oxysept-2 tablet !!) .
 * With monthly lenses the enzymes procedure can be done when the lenses are 14days old 
 

 
 EXTRA TIPS

-          When you think your lens is uncomfortable (especially in the evening) you can use Blink , optitears rewetting or others (you can put some drops into your eyes when you wear your lenses) - Blink and clean : comfortdrop that also cleans your lenses (very usefull with stick lenses).
-          Don't forget to clean your case weekly.  
-          After 6 months it's better you make an apointement with your specialist so your eyes and lenses are checked. After 1 year you should replace the lenses.
-          It's better you don't wear the lenses longer than 16 h. 
-          When you forgot to add the pill (your liquid will not be pink), you can still add the pill in the morning. You will have to wait 2 hours.
