more contrast with a blue filter
BLUE FILTER (introduced by
Serengeti: the contrast-sunglasses "):
Blue light refracts more than the other wavelengths the human eye.
This makes it a focal point of blue light on the retina and not on the retina, so it appears fuzzier.
This leads to the typical blue haze around objects in bright light (sun and snow), but also in foggy conditions (blue light in those circumstances is strongly reflected).
With orange-brown glass that can filter out blue light and thus eliminate the haze.
This leads to contrast enhancement.
This blue light could also damage the retina in the long run, especially when available for patients (macular degeneration / retinitis pigmentosa).
In some patients (retinitis pigmentosa / albinism) such sunglasses also reimbursed.
That blue filter is also in the last few years Rayban and Zeiss.

Discoloring, polarized glass with plastic polaroid filter - basic is the glass as yellow-greenish hue
Contains yellow green filter: increase contrast in cloudy weather because the glass-decolorization is also more light in - also improved perception of green and red
In bright light will discolor the glass from 68 to 88%.
In the car they are copper brown.
Outside they are dark brown.
The latter is done through the transitions process.
Ie: there is a uniform layer of pigment to the face of the glass, dark discolored by the ultraviolet rays of the Sun
This gives the best results in plastic and is independent of the strength of the glass.
The raid · polo helps to filter blinding glare on the road (pools)
UV absorption
So ideal for driving the car in all weather conditions
